File a Lien

Filing perfects the Lien against third parties (PLA s12(1)(a)). A perfected Lien lasts 6 months unless renewed (s22). No filings under $100 (s9(3)). Knowingly false filings are a criminal offence and a tort.

Pre-Act transition filing (s33). This Lien existed by private agreement before the Act; filed within the one-month transition window it keeps its original creation date as priority date, where documentary evidence supports it.

Filing issues a R$100 fee invoice (s9(2), cap $500; government statutory liens excepted), payable on the lien's page via the Treasury or in game quoting the invoice number. Registration is notice-only (s11) and does not certify validity.
