GPS applications allow businesses and similar entities to request a custom GPS point to advertise their company using a personalized GPS code, rather than the default system codes.
GPS APPLICATION TYPES
Applicants may choose between two types of GPS points:
- Immediate Approval or
- Manual Approval.
FEES
Regardless of the type selected, all GPS points have the same associated fees:
- $10,000 for the initial setup and
- $15,000 for relocating the point.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR IMMEDIATE APPROVAL
To apply for an Immediate Approval GPS point, a business must meet at least one of the following qualifications:
Top Tier Business Presence
- The location is the primary facility, headquarters, or flagship operation of a business ranked within the Top 10 National Enterprises, as determined by the Department of Commerce's CPI. To request such information, open a DOC Ticket in #Support.
Registered Heritage Plot
- The location is officially registered and recognized as a heritage site by the Department of Construction and Transportation's Heritage Listed Buildings Registry.
Historically Significant Plot
- The location is determined to be a Historically Significant Plot by the Department of Education or the Department of Construction and Transportation, or by the Monuments Act.
To apply for an Immediate Approval, mention the Words "IMMEDIATE APPROVAL" in all caps under the username section, or it will be considered for a Manual Approval

QUALIFICATIONS FOR MANUAL APPROVAL
Businesses that do not meet any Immediate Approval qualifications may still apply for a Manual Approval GPS point. Manual approvals are subject to a review process, which may include:
- Verification of business legitimacy and compliance with applicable regulations
- Evaluation of the business's relevance or contribution to the local area
LIMIATIONS
No company may hold more than one GPS point.
